Budapest Derby: Ujpest - Ferencvaros

Enjoy the scenes of the famous Budapest derby, a classical game in Hungary between two rivals. Ujpest FC played in their Szusza Ferencstadion against the champions Ferencvarosi TC. A historical derby between two very succesful teams that hate each other to the bone. Of course, there were plenty of pyro and banners present from both sides and the amount of police was immeasurable, due to the heavy riots in the past.

The expectations were not set high as Ujpest is bottom of the table, which is why the stadium was unfortunately far from sold-out. The difference in level between the teams was remarkable. In the break Fradi already led by 0-4, later even making it to 0-6(!). A very tough defeat for Lilák to take. In the end the players of Ujpest even gave back their shirts to the ultras. The shame of the players and ultras could be felt throughout the whole stadium. It is Ferencvaros again that dominates Budapest this season after defeating Honved, Vasas and Ujpest all in a row, only in a couple of weeks.
